Manufacturers- As millions of people around the globe are addicted to
Smoking, cigar/cigarette manufacturing factories are growing in abundance.
People should take an oath to destroy such factories or government should take
appropriate action against cigar making factories or
Conduct an “Awareness Programme” about injury caused by
Cigarettes or Organise new course in colleges such as- “Stop Smoking or how to
Quit Smoking”. This might encourage youths to create a great trend to Quit
Smoking.

in just 10 days-
1. Avoid Bad Companion- Avoid friendship
with smokers and drinkers who force to smoke.
Instead, make friendship with people who had quit smoking, ask them to
give solid tips on how to get rid of smoking and provide them easy to follow
steps that could help them to quit smoking.
2. Think about Health- There might be
several reasons for smoking, but smokers should think about their health- the
way tobacco inside the cigar/cigarettes injures their health, how the noxious
substance causes cancer that burns their life. Smokers should always be aware
that, they are not burning cigarettes; cigarettes are burning them which
in-turn affects their family and children or other dependable.
3. Train/Control Mind- The most important concept
to avoid smoking is to train and control the mind. Once mind is controlled,
there is nothing hard to control or avoid smoking. Fix a limit for smoking- If one smokes 2- 3 cigars a day, slowly
reduce to 1-2 cigars and quit smoking finally. One should train mind properly
and make it realise that Smoking Cigarette is a waste of time and money; by
which everything is lost and nothing is gained; also brush-up the Mind that Smokers
are the losers who lose their hard earned money in just a span of time. This
helps to Control Mind.
4. Yoga/Meditation- Control of mind is the
very hard job, which becomes possible only by doing yoga or meditation regularly. It is always a good practice to
attend yoga classes that helps to gain good concentration. Even joining
meditation programme benefits in controlling the mind, as the spiritual leader advises
people and force them to join Sat-Sangha (Good-Group/Companion) which helps to
quit smoking.
5. Intake Healthy Food- When feeling of “Smoking”
occurs in mind, just move towards fruits centre, have some fruit juice or fruit
salads, drink sugarcane juice, or move towards coconut centres and drink
coconut water which is good for health. These methods will surely help to
forget smoking.
Thanks for giving such good tips.I totally agree with whatever you described. I do involve in various activities to divert my mind. Usually flower arrangements, making gift items, collecting home decor items, decorating home, arts and crafts, painting and so on. This helped me to quit smoking and drinking habits.
